Since 2026, a series of new national standards and regulatory policies in the logistics industry have been implemented simultaneously, covering various core areas such as freight carrier management, multimodal transport operation norms, green logistics accounting, and intelligent warehouse management. This marks that China's freight industry has officially entered a high-quality development stage characterized by compliance, refinement, and intelligence. Compared with the previous extensive development model, this year's industry development focuses on four major directions: process standardization, data compliance, transportation safety, and low-carbon operation, completely reshaping the traditional freight operation model.
In terms of regulation, the national freight industry has fully implemented a standardized verification mechanism, requiring freight operations to have unified correspondence of contracts, waybills, trajectories, funds, and bills of exchange, achieving traceability and verifiability throughout the process. The comprehensive implementation of penetration-based supervision has effectively rectified irregular carriers, false waybills, and missing ledgers within the industry, significantly improving the overall standardization of the freight market and creating a fairer and healthier business environment for regular freight enterprises. For large-scale foreign trade enterprises and shippers, standardized supervision has also greatly reduced the risks and cooperation hazards of goods transportation.
   In terms of infrastructure and multimodal transportation system construction, the country has continuously promoted the action of supplementing and strengthening comprehensive freight hubs, focusing on upgrading the capacity of port, railway, and road multimodal transport nodes, and resolving bottlenecks and obstacles in multimodal transportation. By optimizing the loading and unloading process in the port area, improving the connection of trunk transportation, and breaking through barriers to information exchange within the industry, the transfer efficiency of container rail-water transportation and road-rail transportation has been significantly improved, effectively reducing the overall transportation costs of cross-border and domestic trunk logistics.
   At the same time, green logistics and intelligent logistics have become the core trends of industry upgrading. The new version of green logistics accounting standards has been officially implemented, guiding freight enterprises to optimize the structure of their transportation fleets, promote the use of new energy freight vehicles, and optimize transportation routes, reducing unnecessary transportation and resource waste. At the same time, intelligent warehouse management, real-time tracking of goods, and digital dispatch systems have gradually become widespread, completely changing the inefficient mode of manual statistics and offline connections, making the entire process of goods entry and exit, trunk transportation, and end delivery more precise and efficient.
   Under the overall upgrade of the industry, small and medium-sized traditional freight enterprises face both opportunities and challenges for transformation. Enterprises with compliance qualifications, stable channels, and digital service capabilities have become increasingly prominent advantages.
